Summer in Jammu is from March to May and from May to August in the Kashmir Valley. Summer in Jammu can be harsh with temperatures rising above 45 degrees Celsius; however, summer in the Kashmir Valley is mostly pleasant. The weather is cool for most of the day and it gets warm only during the afternoons.
